This page quickly defines the AIRSAR instrument for quick reference and identification. The physical antenna dimension are listed below, followed by the current antenna configuration mounted on the aircraft. The last image shows the inside of the aircraft with some of the instrument electronic racks. A new AIRSAR reconfiguration (repackaging of electronics) is planned to reduce the number of racks required to operate the instrument. (When completed, the number will be reduced to 5 or 6 racks)
